Rust Dissolve (06 RD)
Begin to dissolve oxidation upon application, and form a phosphatized surface that inhibits the reformation of new rust and scales with Rust Dissolve. This ready-to-use blend of phosphoric acids and detergents cleans and prepares metal surfaces prior to painting. Rust Dissolve can also be used as a preventative corrosion inhibitor. Spray product or apply directly to metal surfaces with brush or roller. Smaller metal objects can be dipped.

Contains phosphoric acid; created by heating phosphonic acid, a colorless to pale-yellow deliquescent crystalline solid. Phosphonic acid is dibasic and has moderate reducing properties.
Rust Dissolve is best used as a surface preparation or mild-duty cleaner. Applications include: engine components, metal sheds, industrial equipment, metal tools, fan blades, and similar metal surfaces.
