DEMA Water Diverter Valve Pressure Indicating Tee with 6' Garden Hose
DEMA's 591 Water Diverter Valve screws on end of faucet and provides an easy way of directing water to any wall mounted chemical dispenser.
The 591 has a built in pressure bleeding device for compliance with ASSE 1055 when connecting to a faucet with a backflow preventer not rated for continuous pressure. The 591 bleeds pressure from the faucet by discharging a narrow stream of water into the sink from the device when the faucet is open.
This relieves enough pressure to not damage the faucets backflow preventer, provides a visual indication to turn the water off and eliminates hot cold cross connection problems.
