Shipping Policies

Expedited Shipping (UPS Next Day Air, Early AM, 2nd Day, 3-Day Select)
VERY IMPORTANT - If you choose an expedited shipping method this does not include any handling or lead time necessary for your order. It only specifies that your order will ship using that UPS method. Email us to find out if your order has a handling or lead time: customerservice@worldwidejanitor.com. While some items can ship out same day, others require additional time.
Some of the products we sell are fulfilled by 3rd parties and / or made to order. This is why we have little control over those items' lead times. For items we stock ourselves, they can usually ship same or next day.
We can NEVER guarantee that you will receive your order by a certain time. The best we can do is estimate when your order will go out and ship via the method you choose. Problems can arise when suppliers get backed up, and when carriers fail to meet their stated times. We can not be responsible for what these 3rd parties do.
Orders for items we stock will usually be shipped within 24-48 hours on business days, Monday through Friday. However, for items filled by 3rd parties, like many of the items we sell from Lafferty, Knight, Haviland, DEMA, Alconox, Simoniz, Best Sanitizers, and Warsaw Chemical, we are subject to their lead times on the item. Here are some exceptions to our normal shipping times:
1. Check / Money order payment orders will not be shipped until after the check, money order, or wire transfer has cleared the bank. This process can take up to 2 weeks for international checks.
2. Pallet sized orders, custom blends, non-stock dispensing equipment, and 30 & 55 gallon drum orders can sometimes require additional handling or lead time. Some items have notes in their descriptions that warn of additional handling time.
3. If an item is out of stock, it can be refunded or backordered. The customer should be notified if an item is out of stock as soon as we find this information out.
4. Some products have extended handling times, and those products usually have a note in the description that mentions this.
5. Holidays - We are closed for all USA holidays. We are closed for quite a few days around Christmas and New Years, so this will delay orders going out during those times. Our suppliers are also closed during these holidays. In the beginning of January, there can also be a delay as we catch up on order fulfillment.

For returnable items, we do not pay return shipping unless there was some defect with the product, a mistake was made on our part, or the customer obtains approval from us.
We do not accept returns on items that are not normally stocked, are special order items, custom blends, or rotary brushes. Some examples of these include pallets of items, 30 and 55 gallon drums, made to order Lafferty Equipment products, and most items that require additional handling time (stated in the product description). We strongly suggest that customers try small quantities of items before ordering large amounts. The reason these items are not returnable is because they were specifically made for your company and they are not something that anyone sells enough of to keep in stock.
We accept returns of unopened, resell-able items that do not meet the above listed restrictions within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the item's purchase price, minus a 15% restocking fee. Some products are subject to the return policies of their manufacturer. These are usually products with lead times because they are made to order by the manufacturer and not normally stocked by us. These products are going to be Knight, DEMA, Hydro Systems, Lafferty and Seko products, and the restocking fee will be that of the manufacturer (Knight is currently 15%, DEMA is currently 25%, but these are subject to change).

Special Conditions
Please read our item descriptions because there are a few items in our store that are bulk commodities, or cheaply packaged, purposely to save you money, and because of the discount priced nature of the product. Some examples of these are oil absorbent granules, bleach, and Superior powdered laundry detergent. These items have notes in their description about the packaging and the high probability of damage occurring during shipment. We will not replace individual bags and boxes of these items that get damaged during shipment. Customers order these items at their own risk.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled at any time until shipped, at which time they fall under the return and refund policy. This does not apply to non-stock items that are made to order. For made to order items that are already in the process of being built, such as Knight, DEMA, Hydro Systems, Lafferty and Seko products, the manufacturer can still charge a restocking fee on a cancellation prior to shipping. Please contact us to find out if your item is something made to order.
For orders over $500 that are paid by credit card, cancellation of that order will incur a 4% credit card processing fee. These are fees that we have to pay to our credit card processor when the charge is made whether we refund it or not.
