This penetrating liquid sets up as a heavy plastic, tacky gear, lubricating film. Open Chain and Gear Lubricant can be used underwater and will not wash off. Apply directly to surface or object.
Open Chain and Gear Lubricant has a petroleum odor.
Ideal for gears, chains, cables, wire ropes leaf springs, drive chains, screw threads, flexible couplings, racks and pinions, ball and rod mills, trunions, roller gears, and winches.
Open Chain and Gear Lubricant is a heavy-duty, extreme pressure lubricant which has been premixed in exacting proportions during manufacturing, so you never have to measure or mix, or risk using a solution that's too strong to be safe or too weak to be effective. Aerosol products allow you to spray the exact amount you need, thereby minimizing waste.
