Product Description

Chlorine Dry Bleach (08 CDB)

Chlorine Dry Bleach is an economical bleach concentrate that dissolves completely in water and is safe to use in side-loading, top-loading, or high-capacity washing machines when you need to remove stains or whiten fabrics. For use only as directed on product label for laundry.

This product is ideal for use in homes, athletic facilities, hotels, motels, assisted living facilities, conference centers, office buildings, hospitals, and schools–though dilutions will vary according to soil load and washer size. It is sold in bulk quantities including 50 lbs pails and pallet quantities of 24 pails for high volume washing needs.

Phosphate free. Store in a dry location.

Specs:
pH: 11.0 of 1% aqueous solution at 20o C
COLOR: White powder
ODOR: Chlorine

Suggested Dilution:
Light duty: 2.25 oz. (100 ppm)
Medium duty: 3.5 oz. (150 ppm)
Heavy duty: 4.5 oz. (200 ppm)
Based on 19 gallons of water in a commercial washing
machine. For high efficiency machines, much less should be used.

Active Ingredient:
Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate, dihydrate 5-15% per SDS

Off-Label Usage Information:
The manufacturer of this product only recommends it for use in laundry. However, we frequently get asked about using this product for disinfecting. Through our own informal testing, a 200 ppm chlorine solution can be achieved by mixing .5 oz of Chlorine Dry Bleach in one gallon of hot water.
