Muriatic Acid (06 MA)

Prevent the formation of deposits that could clog the water-circulation system of your pool or spa. Muriatic Acid is a 32% hydrochloric acid formulation that will lower pH levels, providing a crucial component to the overall care and proper maintenance of your swimming pool. Carefully measure pH level and add Muriatic Acid, as needed.

Muriatic acid is the former name of hydrochloric acid. This product, therefore, contains hydrogen chloride; a colorless fuming gas that is made from sodium chloride and sulphuric acid. It is a strong acid and dissociates completely in solution (hydrochloric acid). Chloride is a halogen and a good oxidizing agent.
