KOB RM1715 16" - Floor Machine
Strip, restore, or clean numerous floor types with this heavy-duty, ergonomically engineered floor machine. This Koblenz manufactured unit has a polyethylene shroud and chassis. The adjustable handle is made from 13 gauge durable, chromed steel and has a 1-1/4" diameter. Its 1.5 HP, heavy-duty motor is backed by a 3-year warranty, and it runs on 120 volts.
This floor machine has 5" shock absorbing, non-marking wheels, so it is easy to transport. It also includes a 3-wire, 14 gauge power cord.
A floor machine is also known as a swing machine, or buffer, and should not be operated without first receiving proper training. These machines operate at 175 RPM (rotations per minute) in a counter-clockwise motion that propels the machine from side-to-side. Required accessories include: brush or pad driver, floor pads, and clutch plates.
